What is PSYCH-K®?
PSYCH-K® is a simple but powerful methodology that allows you to change limiting subconscious beliefs, or programs.
These subconscious programs shape how you perceive and relate to the world around you - and how you think and feel about life. This means that they influence just about every aspect of your life - and most of them were formed in your early childhood before you even knew what was happening!
With PSYCH-K® you can replace these old programs with beliefs that are aligned with your conscious goals. It then becomes easier to live the life you want to live, as opposed to the one you end up living.
The vast majority of your mental activity is subconscious (even though your conscious mind will yell and scream that that cannot be true!). The subconscious mind has the astonishing power to process 40 million bits of information per second - compared to the conscious mind's 40 bits per second.
BELIEFS AND THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

The subconscious mind stores your beliefs, perceptions and learned responses - most of which were formed in the first 7 years of childhood. These beliefs influence:
-
how you see yourself
-
how you interpret situations
-
how you respond emotionally
-
what/who you are drawn to, and veer away from
-
the patterns you repeat.
Because these processes happen at the subconscious level, they feel automatic, and almost impossible to change.
This is the level where PSYCH-K® operates. Working with PSYCH-K® allows you to recognise that you actually can rewrite these old programs - without it being traumatic or taking years of therapy!
MUSCLE TESTING
All PSYCH-K® processes use muscle testing to communicate with the subconscious mind. Muscle testing is used widely in alternative health practices, by chiropractors, nutritionists, naturopaths and physical therapists. In PSYCH-K® its use is specific and therefore may differ from other experiences you have had.
Muscle testing bypasses the conscious mind, allowing us to directly confirm whether the subconscious mind believes a statement to be true or false.
For example, I may consciously believe "I am free to leave my work whenever I like". When muscle tested, the test shows a weak response which indicates my subconscious mind does not believe the statement to be true. Upon further examination, we may discover that I feel judged by my colleagues, or fear other negative repercussions by leaving early. So no, I do not feel free to leave my work early.
Thus a muscle test can reveal truths that our conscious mind cannot see.
