"IS THERE SCIENCE BEHIND PSYCH-K®?"
Neuroscientific research has shown the physiological changes that are effected by PSYCH-K® processes. Scientific studies have also examined muscle testing as a form of communication with the subconscious mind.
Research into the effect of PSYCH-K® on the brain was done by Professor Jeffrey Fannin together with Rob Williams (the originator of PSYCH-K®). They used electroencephalographs (EEG) to record brain wave activity on 125 subjects, in three locations over a 12 month period.
The study showed that 98% of the test subjects showed a significant change in brain wave activity before and after a PSYCH-K® balance. Muscle testing as a form of communication with the subconscious was scientifically validated in a study with 89 students. The study concluded that muscles were 17% stronger when muscle testing was applied following a true statement, and the strength lasted 59% longer.

"WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF PSYCH-K®?"
PSYCH-K® has been around since 1988 when the first Balance came in an extended insightful experience to Robert Williams. Rob Williams had been a businessman, and then a psychotherapist. He had become frustrated with observing his psychotherapy clients repeating the same experiences and patterns, no matter the work they put in. PSYCH-K® appeared to come as a solution to this issue.

In its early years PSYCH-K® was often characterised as "a psychological process that could be used to improve life, physically and mentally." Over time - even though that characterisation remained true - PSYCH-K® has become equally perceived as "a spiritual process with psychological benefits".
